Ian is an experienced criminal lawyer and former director with Roger Pickles Solicitors. Ian joined Roebucks following the merger of the two practices in October 2014. He graduated from Nottingham Trent University and qualified as a Solicitor in 1995. Since qualifying he has undertaken all types of criminal cases including violence and disorder, drug related, sexual and dishonesty offences.
One of Ian's most interesting and challenging cases was a week long trial in the magistrates court defending in respect of animal neglect / cruelty charges including allegations of Munchausen syndrome.
Ian has also represented a large number of football supporters at courts throughout England and Wales both in relation to criminal charges and applications for football banning orders.
Away from the office Ian enjoys spending time with his family and also enjoys sporting activities particularly football and golf. For a number of years he has been involved with the coaching of a junior football team.
